St James Goldenacre was designed by Sir Rowand Anderson in 1888. It incorporates the church of Christ Church Trinity, and the Christ Church Chapel contains the property of that church. Interior wall paintings were provided by William Hole, who was responsible for the murals in the City Chambers.
