Kirkbrae Housem at the southern end of the Dean Bridgem was once an inn known as the Baxter’s House of Call and was extended in 1892 by James Graham Farley. It incorporates the datestone with the symbol of the Baxters from the Jericho granary, once below on Bell’s Brae, which burned down in 1956.
