The Leith Victoria Baths opened next door to Great Junction Street School on Junction Place in 1896 and are still in use today, with a new access and carpark recently provided from Bonnington Road.. In their heyday they were the centre for many swimming events, including the Leith Galas. The building was designed by George Simpson.
