Institute for the Education of Deaf and Dumb Children

The Institute for the Education of Deaf and Dumb Children moved here to Henderson Row from Chessel’s Court.  The building was designed in 1823 by James Gillespie Graham.  After the merge between the Institute and Donaldson’s College, the building was sold to the Edinburgh Academy.
