This memorial remembers the bravery of Corporal Thomas Peck Hunter, who sacrificed his life for the good of his unit during the Action on Lake Commachio in Italy on 13 April 1945, for which he was posthumously awarded a Victoria Cross. It is found outside Ocean Terminal.
