Bell Place

Bell Place in the Stockbridge Colonies, built in 1867, is named for David Bell, a joiner who was Chairman of the Edinburgh Building Cooperative Company between 1867 and 1869.  The wooden footbridge over the Water of Leith at the north end was built in 1894.
